Non-Profit Organization Aoi Taiyo Hosts “Scavenger Hunt Games 2013 at the ACCJ Kansai Walk-A-Thon”

Osaka City, Japan  July, 22nd  2013

This year, Aoi Taiyo participated in the Kansai Walk-A-Thon by hosting the 2013 Scavenger Hunt Games for student’s ages 4-18.

The Walk-A-Thon is an annual charity event held by the American Chamber of Commerce (ACCJ). The charity’s theme is supporting women in the workplace by improving the working environment for women in Japan as well as to contribute to the growth of Kansai, its society and businesses.  The Kansai Walk-A-Thon was held at the New Grand Front Osaka, North District.  October 19th 2013. 2000+ people attended the ACCJ Kansai Walk-A-Thon.

The scavenger hunt games glowed with success as students lined up to play what most said from first glance seemed impossible and very challenging. Like most scavenger hunt games students were given a scavenger hunt list with clues and required to search for missing items, but in this case the items were questions which needed to be answered with stickers (also given at the start of the hunt). “All most all of the participants were motivated to finish the hunt no matter how long it took and that’s the point; to bring forth determination which stimulates the mind for one set of goals – to fight, to lead and to win. – O.M.Miki-

Aoi Taiyo is looking forward to participating in the 2014 WAT event with a new game; this year being held in Kobe, Japan.
