Aoi Taiyo participated in the 2014 International Kids Day fair on Rokko Island, Kobe. The “Try your hand at complex origami” booth was a big success and its most popular origami challenge, the crane, was taken on by hundreds of students. All completed cranes were rigged to a traditional handmade Japanese folding umbrella to be part of the : “100 crane umbrella display” gifted to Canadian Academy.
